Today is a ‘beat your time’ kinda day. Honestly, I didn’t think I could do it. So I played pandora and got out my ‘Family Fun’ magazine, and started the timer. I turned the timer over so I wouldn’t look at it (husband watching Boardwalk Empire, so couldn’t get him to time me), and when I thought I was going to collapse and die I cheated and turned it over. About 3:30. But my high time is 5:25. I thought of giving up and doing a split (and that took an extra 10 seconds), so I turned it back over to see how much longer I could stay there shaking. I made it through 2.5 songs total: a weird version of the alphabet and mahna mahna. I don’t remember the third song. I started counting in my head and breathing really slowly to keep me going. And I made it to 5:35. Beat my time by 10 seconds. I can’t believe it.
